2016 Competition Workout: Cardio Density

Below is the Cardio Density (aka Double Fugly) event, presented by Michelob Ultra, for individuals. Scroll down for full description. The Fittest Games reserves the right to modify workouts and movements in the interest of athlete and event safety. We will notify all athletes if a change needs to be made.

Cardio Density (Double Fugly) for Individuals

All athletes will start on their start/finish pad. At the call of 3-2-1 Go, athletes will proceed down their designated lanes and run 800m on the designated run course. After completion of the run, athletes will then proceed to their designated lanes to complete their burpees to plate. Once all burpees are completed, the athletes will move their plate forward to the next square and proceed to their rope, where they will complete their repetitions. Once all repetitions are completed, the athlete will run back down their designated lane and on to the run course. The athlete will complete the workout in this fashion, moving their plate up after each set of burpees before they can proceed to their rope. Once their final double unders are complete, they will move to their start/finish pad for time to be called.
