2017 TFX Competition Workout: Team Clean Streak

In this team workout, 1 athlete will be working at a time and it must be M-M-F-F order.

At the call of 3-2-1, Go, Male Athlete 1 will run 25m to their barbell. They will then complete their 4 Cleans. In the clean, the barbell begins on the ground. At the bottom of the squat clean, the hip crease must be below the top of the knee. You MUST catch the clean in the squat. You MAY NOT power clean the weight and then front squat it to complete the repetition. The rep finishes when the athlete is standing tall with the barbell, with elbows in front of the bar, and hips and knees fully extended.

Once all 4 repetitions are complete, the athlete will then run back to their starting mat where they must get BOTH FEET on the mat before running back to their barbell. They will then complete their 3 cleans. Once all 3 Cleans are completed, they will then run back to their starting pad and get both feet on their mat before running back to their barbell.

The athletes will continue in this fashion for 2 Cleans and their final 1 Clean. After the final 1 Clean, the athlete will advance the barbell forward to the next station and then sprint back to their finish pad where they will tag Male Athlete 2.

Male Athlete 2, Female Athlete 1, and Female Athlete 2 will continue in this same fashion. Once Female Athlete 2 finishes her last Clean and sprints back to the finish pad with all her teammates, time will be called.
