In 2016 Dalton placed 2nd in the TFX Amateur Division. That lit a fire. When the 2018 TFX Qualifier came around he was determined to qualify for the Pro Division; and that he did. Dalton finished his 2018 TFX weekend in 6th place as a TFX Pro. In March Dalton placed 17th in the Open in South Central and earned his spot at the South Regional.
